Old meets new

After a decade of renovation and a £35million budget, in Victoria Square has re-opened to the public. The Grade I listed building now includes the latest energy efficient heating technology from Jaga Heating Products, providing users with ultimate climatic comfort.
A nineteenth century architectural treasure with its magnificent Roman-inspired columns, the building has been lovingly restored to its former glory by specialist construction group, Wates and project architects, Urban Design Department. Jaga’s discreet Clima Canal trench heating with integrated Low-H20 technology is providing highly powered and rapid heat delivery with super-low noise levels. Special wall mounted Low-H2O powered heat emitters were used in the foyer areas.
Jaga’s Clima Canal is a powered trench heating solution that delivers high output from extremely small dimensions. The heat exchanger is light and responsive which means it can react to temperature fluctuations more than nine times faster than a normal radiator and ensures perfectly controlled heat output. By only emitting heat when necessary, energy is not wasted by overheating a space and consequently less carbon emissions are produced.
This multi-functional product from Jaga’s Top Performers range is also available in a recessed wall version and can be ordered with a variety of grille finishes, including various woods and aluminium to suit any interior. The use of the latest heating technology to provide the best possible environment in such a classical building demonstrates that designers do not have to compromise on performance, even when dealing with an iconic building such as this.
Birmingham Town Hall is now re-opened as a state of the art concert venue, where noise levels are of critical importance. Clima Canal is designed to deliver its high heating output with no discernable noise, making it ideal for such an application.
